Only 12% of Dentists in the United States are Invisalign Certified, Dr. Nepo is one such doctor that was personally trained and certified by the Vice President of Clinical Education of Align Technology, Dr. Lou Shuman.

What is Invisalign?

Hand with aligner

Invisalign is the invisible way to straighten teeth through a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable Aligners just for you. It's a clear alternative to metallic braces. And it's been proven effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide.

Is Invisalign right for me?

Invisalign can correct wide spaces between teeth, crowding, deep bite, overbite, anterior crossbites, and underbite. It is IDEAL for Adults with Orthodontic Relapse where a few teeth have shifted, Diastemas (front teeth gaps), and lower front teeth crowding (which 70% of the population suffers from). There are limitations, however. It is not ideal for children or teens that do not have their 2nd molars fully erupted.

What do I need to get started?

Our initial consultation is free of charge and is necessary to determine if you are an Invisalign candidate. After meeting with Dr. Nepo and being accepted as an Invisalign patient, an appointment for teeth impressions can be scheduled as soon as possible.

When do I get the Aligners?

Aligner Smile

After the impressions are taken, Dr. Nepo will consider your desired smile and write a treatment prescription and send it to the lab at Align Technology, where the latest advances in 3D computer technology create the precisely customized Aligners.

How often will I need to be seen for appointments?

Dr. Nepo will supply you with two Aligners and each is worn for approximately 2 weeks, moving your teeth gradually-week by week, millimeter by millimeter. Generally, appointments will be every 4 weeks where Dr. Nepo assesses your progress and do minor adjustments and checks.

How long does the treatment take with Invisalign?

For the mildest cases of diastema or crowding, treatment can take less than 6 months where you’ve achieved the intended result: straighter teeth and smile. Generally, you will visit Dr. Nepo less often than you would with braces and the length of treatment is usually 12 months or less.

Is Invisalign comfortable?

Yes, because there are no metal wires and brackets, Invisalign is comfortable. And because it's removable, eating, brushing, and flossing are no problem. You can still enjoy eating your favorite foods and smile without holding back. With Invisalign, there's nothing to hide.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Each Invisalign case varies depending on type and difficulty based on how long someone is expected to wear the Aligners. The cost of Invisalign is less than the traditional metallic braces.

Does Orthodontic Insurance cover Invisalign?

Yes, usually to the same extent as traditional orthodontics.
